RetailBiz Store Sales Summary.

Project Objective: The objective for this data analysis is to assess RetailBiz store sales/ trade.

Aim: To create multiple page dashboards that analyze the different aspects of the stores such as branch insights, product insights, customer insights, sales insights, sales trend. So as to convey evidence-based problem solving for RetailBiz store.

Goals:

1. To measure the Revenue, Expenses, Profit and Profit margin

2. To design an e-commerce background that showcase Revenue, Expenses, Profit and Profit margin at a glimpse.

3. To present the key performances indicators (Revenue, Expenses, Profit and Profit margin) in a filter to aid/in other to demonstrating the KPIs with date ranges, an arrow at right side to enable stakeholders to navigate to other dashboards.

Methodology: RetailBiz store sales generation was evaluated, by obtaining the dataset from Excel, power query editor cleaned and transformed the data, calculation measures was done in power BI using DAX formula, reporting and presentation in power BI.

Reporting: As indicated in the data analyzed the sales generation has the following statistics;

1. RetailBiz store revenue is #29,357,978, Expenses, Profit and Profit margin are #17,277,380, #12,080,598,41% respectively.

2. An e-commerce background was created showcasing Revenue, Expenses, Profit and Profit margin at a glimpse giving stakeholders a clear picture of the outcome of the sale performances.

3. A significant profit was made in the first year (1^st July 2016 to 29^th July 2017) with a profit of #3,036,750, revenue and expenses of #7,551,968, #4,515,28 respectively.

4. The second year (30^th July 2017 to 29^th July 2018) shows the revenue generated is 6,131,399, expenses of 3,583,794 and profit of 2,547,605.

5. Meanwhile, in the third year as analyzed 29th July 2018 to July-31-2019, Retailbiz realized their major profit of #6,522,664 with revenue of #15,739,121 while the expenses are #9,215,451.

Recommendation: The business strategy used in generating high revenue and achieving the most profit (29th July 2018 to July-31-2019) should be encouraged and applied to get adequate profit in subsequent business years.
